Definition: KP – Kayak Philippines; “Officers” - KP Organizers and Administration Staff
- Kindly accomplish the on-line KP Camp Registration form upon reservation or upon arrival at the camp.
- All guests will be required to sign a "No liability waiver" and will be shown the “Kayak Safety Rules.”
- Camp operational hours:
a/ Day use (Max 8 hours): from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m.
b/ Overnight use ((12 hours): from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
c/ 24 hours: From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. the next day.
- Guests are allowed to use the camping site facilities such as: camping ground, KP parking area, kayak grounds, lake access, showers and comfort room
- Car Camping - can use the KP Camp facilities- shower and toilet, please note that water, Hi electric power to hook on and waste/sewage dumping is not allowed.
- KP current camp capacity:
Paddling current capacity: 16 persons with KP guide: 3-4 guests to 1 guide ratio.
Camp Area: 24 persons
• 6 Cars with maximum of 4 campers per car= total of maximum 24 persons
• 4 Car campers with maximum of 4 persons per car = total of maximum 16 persons
Kindly reserve early due to limited camp capacity.
- Please abide KP parking rules and park only at designated KP parking area.
- READ, and Comprehend BEFORE your actual On-water activity.
- Guests availing of KP Kayak boat and SUP (stand up paddle) rentals will be given the safety instructions and boundary guide for lake areas. Paddling is allowed at designated area of the lake (show map and buoy marks).
- Paddlers who have their own boats and would like to use the KP Camp facilities is required to accomplish the registration form and is encouraged to submit their "Float Plan".
- All guests must at all times, wear and supply clothing and safety equipment fit for the purpose for kayaking, SUP(Stand up paddle) and other water sport activity. If in doubt about what constitutes “fit for purpose” the member should consult with the KP officers.
- When in any water activity, wearing a PFD (personal floatation device) with proper safety materials like storm whistle, mobile phone with the Emergency numbers inside a water proof holder is compulsory all the time.
- Guests must participate in the safety instruction briefing and be subjected to a safety outfit check before going to the lake. Please approach KP officers if you have not done it yet.
- Guests are responsible for their own safety, their invited family and guests. Kayak Philippines will not be held liable for any loss, damage or accident caused by or to guest and their property.
- Anyone under the age of 18, will be required to accomplish a parental consent form (please secure the form from KP officers) to join the Kayak Philippines activities and must be accompanied also by another person (aged 18 above) on all trips.
- All guests must respect and abide by rules and decisions made for certain situations by KP officers or organizers.
- We discourage any bullying or any inappropriate behaviour to other guests, KP officers and KP camp facilities.
- Kindly report any untoward incidents and defective faucets/facilities to KP officers.
- Breaking and losing KP Camp facilities/Equipment/Accessory will have a corresponding charge/s.
- Electrical charges:
Per car campers: Php400.00
Per tent campers: Php300.00
Allowed for: 1/ Rice Cooker 2/ Electric Fan 3/ Portable Light 4/ Radio 5/ Charging for Mobile phone and Laptop.
- Reservations and cancellation policy:
Reservations to use the camp can be made 12 months (365 days) in advance. Please note that it will be challenging to get new bookings/replacement when the date is very near while preparations are made to accommodate your booking.
If CANCELLATIONS are made:
1 to 3 days before: 100 % forfeiture
4 to 30 days before: 50 % forfeiture
31 to 60 days before: 75 % forfeiture
- Please read the “KP Disaster preparedness steps and Exit plan” in case of Emergency for your safety.

- Advisories by Authorities (e.g. PHILVOCS, NDRRMC, Coastguard, and PAGASA) must be respected accordingly.
- Avoid throwing items that might ignite fire or throw broken glasses around that might cause injuries to others. Paddlers normally use a scuba shoes with soft soles.
- In case of bad weather advisory, acts of God, KP has the right to cancel the operation and should not be held liable as it is not their fault. Utmost consideration will be applied.
- Pet rules:
Make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccinations as if they bite, please be responsible for the anti-rabies medical expenses. The KP Camp will not be responsible for any damage bringing a pet will incur.
Good Pet behaviour is required. Dogs or Cats of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners. Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles car camping areas.
Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers, if your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.
Not picking up after your pet’s poop will annoy fellow campers and campground management. Always clean up after your pet, whether you’re at the campground, or in the lake.
Do NOT leave your pet unattended at the campsite or lake front at all times.
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the camp.
- Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited when in water activities. When in camp drink in moderation.
- Inside the camp, music is allowed until 70 decibels and if joining other guests, tone it down from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Normal Street sound has 75 to 80 decibel rating.
- Cars and motorbikes emitting noisy sound over 70 decibels and smoke are not allowed inside the camp.
- Bath soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner made of natural ingredients are highly recommended to avoid adding to the water pollution in the protected area. KP Camp is under PAMB (Protected Area Management Bureau) located at the zone of (TVPL) Taal Volcano Protected Landscape.
- Food is allowed as long as you keep the camp clean at all times. Please approach the KP officers for the details of the nearby restaurant contact and local meal details.
- Clean as you go. Trash in Trash out. Kindly take home your own trash.
